Dumb Signal is a market-information tool that classifies public X posts from prominent traders into trade actions (bought, sold, added) and grades each call with direction-signed returns at 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, and 1 year. One clean feed of what they actually do โ no politics, no hot takes, receipts included.
Dumb Signal is built and run by Julien Barbier (@jbarbier โ tracked on Dumb Signal like everyone else). Questions, corrections, or data requests: write0@gmail.com.
We poll every tracked X account continuously โ sweeps run every 15 minutes, around the clock โ and archive each post the moment we see it: original text, tickers, timestamp, and media. Posts and replies run through an AI classifier that keeps only real trade actions (a personal buy, sell, add, trim, open, or close of a position) and drops everything else.
Every call is then priced and graded. Equities are priced on end-of-day market data from the first close after the call; crypto is priced daily from market aggregates. Returns are direction-signed: a short that falls is green, a buy that falls is red โ green always means the call was right. Each call is tracked at 1D / 1W / 1M / 1Y and since the call. A window that hasn't matured shows a dash; we never display a made-up 0%.
Deleting a post doesn't delete the record. Calls are archived at ingest, so a scrubbed losing call stays on the books with its grade.
Dumb Signal reports what public accounts post. It is not a financial advisor, broker, or fiduciary, and nothing here is investment advice. Do your own research. See the full Terms of Service.
