Being smart matters less than being smart differently. $20k to $80M by getting ahead of undiscovered niches. $AMZN

@legen_eth A rare, well researched 90%-ish conviction outcome like I had on $AMZN earnings justifies accepting more downside to capture substantially more upside by using leverage.

@JackThunder33 @RealSimpleAriel @amitisinvesting That added to my conviction this wk. so many independent datapoints aligning that I was more concerned about not having enough in the $AMZN earnings trade than having too much.

Thanks. I understand you and others are new to my world, but Iβve spent dozens of hours over the past six months breaking down my $AMZN thesis in granular detail across a dozen major podcasts, including my own YouTube show. In the context of people who have followed that journey, the tweet makes perfect sense.

@LordMarket22 I had additional leverage available if $BE and $AMZN hadnβt played out, but after another drawdown it wouldβve been meaningfully uncomfortable to pull that trigger. I would have though

@DonPumperino Youβre thinking in stock moves. Iβm living in a world of short dated, leveraged options. One or two correctly timed trades can outweigh years of equity returns. A $70 Amazon round trip is irrelevant in that context.

Most gut-wrenching, highest-conviction, levered trade of my life. Been an annoying broken record for months I know, but for good reason. We did it. $AMZN

@rdd147 Regulators blocked Amazon from buying Roomba over hypothetical data risks. Roomba then went bankrupt and its assets ended up under Chinese control. Regulatory incompetence.

Pre-answering the inevitable $AMZN earnings DMs.
Little has changed.
The algos will chase whatever management says about CapEx. The market will overreact. As usual.
If it rips, cool. If it tanks, Iβll be buying more. IDGAF.

@Pim76422431 ROIC inflection from unprecedented AI CapEx + Amazon becoming one of the biggest beneficiaries of the AI efficiency wave. Timing that inflection is the hard part.

@Morketh05 Thatβs the consensus thought going into $AMZN earnings for sure but could be priced in here after todayβs move

Comical watching Finance X melt down over $GOOG price action within minutes of earnings. Learn to regulate your nervous system. AI is creating one of the most manic, confused markets weβve ever seen. Expect the unexpected. Over the longer term, high-conviction, well-researched investors who can sit through the noise are likely to be rewarded.

@Ai_Andy1337 @fugui_slawta I reduced my $SKM exposure, for now. The market now has to reprice the risk that open source compresses frontier model pricing. Happy to add back once thereβs better visibility on where the economics ultimately settle.

As AI compute spend shifts overwhelmingly toward inference the purchase orders donβt disappear they change hands. If the power balance shifts because of open source, the orders simply move from one customer to another, much like XAI compute capacity shifted to Anthropic when demand for Grok fell short of expectations.
