@RichMargin prototypes are not easy and having been for teslas optimus program. all of the above has been proven to be hard
$TSLA
@chrismoses121 if that happens then yes. but it hasnβt happened
$TSLA
@bigpoppad66 iβve invested in a bunch and would love nothing more than to lever into $TSLA on real optimus traction, meaning capabilities of the hardware, that i have yet to see or hear about from my network

@mkaaes the latter
$TSLA
@phasegatejumper not so sure about that
$TSLA
@Limitless_LT correct but the questions go well beyond just hand performance
$TSLA
@HassanAesthetic sounds about right
$TSLA
@pioamora expected, not meaningful. bot performance, and thatβs a broad term, is what matters
$TSLA
@EagleCongr51301 you just do
$TSLA
@chrismilas i do not believe that is feasible with this generation of bot without an army of human supervision, hence basically just training bots here
$TSLA
@richkwiat elon has had high confidence in a lot of timelines over the yrs. i rarely agree or believe him but love that he thinks as irrationally big as he does
$TSLA
@e_x_pression i get that, but if these are primarily training bots, scaling to 5-50k would require a staggering human teleoperation/demonstration workforce, potentially tens of thousands of people. thatβs the part of the scaling equation i canβt reconcile.
$TSLA
Deja vu here as nearly this exact info was βreportedβ a year ago. more likely to be true this time, but manufacturing at scale is the easy part for Tesla. What matters is whether the optimus humanoid hardware platform can deliver the performance and KPIs to justify deployment at any scale.
Curious what Tesla intends to do with 5,000 bots, as it would take up to 15,000 human operators to put them into 24/7 training.
Cautiously optimistic, but keeping the thesis tethered to observable reality.

@RajDuncan @topazbenj @tslaming @Jason i have my channels on intel and when iβm convinced ill go all in on $TSLA. i sincerely want every company in the sector to succeed as its a net positive for humanity.

@AntonioMinkov the only 3x levered ETFs i own are indexed to S&P or Nasdaq and that is with long term capital iβm prepared to hold for decades

@topazbenj @RajDuncan @tslaming That is factually wrong and not how I invest. One of my top future opportunities is a levered long $TSLA trade the second I identify meaningful positive traction in Optimus. important not to become emotionally attached to stocks or your any thesis

@KevinMelnuk @Quantum8AI facts
$TSLA
@Quantum8AI maybe, maybe not but iβve already made year after year of unreal gains in AI stocks as opposed to having money parked in $TSLA so even if it plays out that way iβm ok with the trade off
$TSLA
@Limitless_LT painful
$TSLA
Been getting the same pushback on my $TSLA cybercab take for yrs: βyou just donβt get it.β
Meanwhile, the opportunity cost of parking capital in $TSLA during this period of stratospheric returns across AI winners would have been catastrophic.
If robotaxi starts showing signs of being 5x bigger than Iβm modeling, or when optimus materializes, Iβll happily lean into the trade late. Until then, Iβm continue to allocate capital where I have better visibility into what I can actually observe vs. speculative scenarios that are years out. no hate to the tesla fanboys. your win if it happens wonβt be my loss

my takeaway from 3 days of GPT6/Astra research: itβs simultaneously far more capable and efficient than expected, yet still far from good enough.
that combination should massively accelerate AI adoption, drive Jevons paradox, and expose how much work remains before these models are dependable across the full scope of real world use cases.
hard to imagine a more bullish outcome for AI infrastructure.
@cdnenerg @GrindeOptions i invest with a different objective and risk tolerance than you or anyone else. that said, why would i hold a position today that i wouldnβt buy today? itβs the same decision.
