I struggle with this. We all sort of agree that certain monopolies cannot be allowed and that vital utilities should have regulated returns, this is just one of those things that should have rules. I used to live in Miami Beach and saw ABNB ruin the city by bringing crime and craziness. I just came back from Dubrovnik and the only Croatians I saw, were the guys pouring wine. It’s a destructive tech. Imagine an area that’s 3x3 miles and it hardly has residents. Think how strange it is that hardly anyone lives in Venice now?? I’m fine with tourism, just think that there needs to be a choke valve on quantity.
