Heated nuke debate.. i wish that oklo plants could be ready soon. Too hard to build and NRC not hacks and rubber-stampers
$OKLO
So Oklo soars on Meta deal. We have to believe that Oklo technology works better than GEV nukes. I am surprised Mark fell into this trap. I thought he was better than this.

The stock of Boeing is going down because the president doesn't want defense companies to pay massive dividends or buybacks. Boeing has neither!!!!

The chip stocks are on fire and its led by the ones with the least proprietary technology that are in very short supply ; sandisk best!!

The biggest winner in a power gating scenario might be META because it can pull back on spending and not worry about Open AI which won't be able to make its expensive buildout work either: not enough workers, too little equipment...

As I was scanning winners and losers last night i was struck by how the NON-data center industrials had some huge moves: HON, DOV, DD.. The data center was not so hot perhaps because of the brutal Micron reversal.

Get used to the concept of power gating as the lack of power will constrain the endless buildout of the data center and actually make all of these companies more profitable. Less of an arms race.. Don't worry, Nvidia will still have plenty of business, Just less hyperscale intensive...

The dilemma of Berkshire Hathaway. Buffett always advocates index funds for individuals. But as i argue in my book, How to Make Money in Any Market, why would you own an index fund when you could have owned Berkshire shares AND an index fund. Berkshire compounded at 19.9% since'64 v. 10.4% for the S&P 500.

Nike supporters you may know about the huge Tim Cook buy and Elliott Hillβs buy but do not overlook the buy of 8700 shares by Bob Swan, former ceo and cfo Intel who is quite savvy about finance. You donβt often see three insiders buy unless the next year is going to be a great one. China will be βWin Nowβ for this tremendous, innovative team!

Now Elliott Hill, ceo, joins the insider buying at Nike. I know it is out of favor but we will keep buying it for the CNBC Investing Club because the massive inventory is almost gone and Elliott will turn China in 2026. Hillβs buy is in great company !!

So i read once again that Michael Burry is shorting Nvidia and Palantir. Two questions: we have known this for months, how is it the lead story in the WSJ and did he catch the entire NVDA move on the way up as CNBC Club members did?

Yes, Anthropic, Gemini and OpenAI are the three winners. The others--one will have to pay Apple for the right to play

The only thing in this article that didn't make sense was the same garbage about how there is no real demand for Nvidia's chips and the government is discouraging usage. Sure, just like the I-phone 17
