Being smart matters less than being smart differently. $20k to $80M by getting ahead of undiscovered niches. $AMZN

I donβt have differentiated alpha on the memory bubble debate, but one important perspective:
Sell side reports projecting the memory supply/demand imbalance to peak in the next few quarters are number crunchers modeling todayβs known AI use cases.
The problem is AIβs biggest use cases may not exist yet.
Iβd rather bet on AI creating unforeseen demand than on a spreadsheet correctly predicting its known memory needs two years from now. $SNDK $MU

@SchillerAl78233 @APCCRedding Thanks. And most importantly, cyclospora hit, which changed everything for $SG.

Hailey Bieberβs rhode might be the best thing to happen to $ELF since Jeffree Starβs Putty Primer video back at $8/share. What a ride for us social arbitrage investors.
$ELF
@finestblends My Caesar wrap thesis on $SG became irrelevant the moment the cyclospora outbreak began. The debate has shifted to one question: how much are consumers avoiding lettuce-centric menu items?

@aceoc Im levered 24/7 but banked the big $AMZN profits via option roll ups Friday and again yesterday

Bezos entering the fun phase of life: funding yachts, space projects, eventually a sports team, is a gift to $AMZN investors. Itβs one of the purest forms of forced price dislocation with zero correlation to the health of the business. If youβre trading post-earnings options the insider window opening belongs in your risk calculus.

I exited most of my $PLTR near all time highs with massive leverage after buying around $30 upon deeply researching in β25 because my social arbitrage thesis had played out. Could it keep running? Absolutely. But Iβm one person. I canβt deeply research every great opportunity all the time, so I intentionally let plenty of big winners pass. I just need to nail the ones I choose.

Hold very little $PLTR these days, but love seeing it win after the gift it gave me in β25. Knowing how many retail investors are along for the ride makes today even better.

$BE was my second-largest trade last week behind $AMZN. Insightful, contentious text thread with close friends who sold Bloom at last weekβs lows while I was aggressively adding, admittedly while pissing my pants as my account was hemorrhaging. Those are the hardest trades youβll ever make, but can be the most rewarding.
Worth noting this is inside a designated high risk/high reward account.

Yes, but there are degrees of information parity. The information asymmetry and market misunderstanding around $AMZN has been enormous. My thesis evolved daily, and I both added and reduced risk as new information emerged. Position sizing isnβt static when the probabilities are constantly changing.

@AndrewBedell1 @howardlindzon Accuracy when researching financial data. Just this morning, GPT hallucinated when I asked for recent analyst rating changes on $AMZN. Googleβs AI Mode did better. Maybe a more advanced GPT model wouldβve gotten it right, but this felt like a simple question.

@eleutron2 @djvlad @YouTube Heβs conflating a one time accounting gain with the operating business. The Q3 guide was primarily negatively impacted by Prime Day shifting into Q2, while the long thesis strengthened because operational trends and visibility improved materially.

For some consumer use cases, Googleβs AI is better than GPT. But consumer behavior is driven by perception, inertia, branding, and habit far more than nuanced product differences. Three years in, ChatGPT still has a stranglehold on consumer AI app downloads. Itβs astonishing to watch unfold
