last crypto cycle in 2023 at the beginning the first major onchain innovation was unibot, it ran to 200M bc it was the first trading terminal with a token attached that made it easy for people to one-click buy long-tail crypto assets, this is now the standard with instant onboarding from user's bank accounts coinbase & robinhood had 100M users each but retail had no way to buy long-tail crypto assets onchain easily until they were listed on the major centralized exchanges hyperliquid didn't even exist yet this cycle we will have several mobile-focused social trading platforms that highlight the best traders & their ability to spin up small balances into large amounts in a short amount of time, trading will easily be the most popular pvp game for the next generation, & tokenization will be as commonplace as people posting memes about viral trends on tik tok, @Pumpfun will very directly benefit from this social shift happening in real time 24/7 perps for stocks are going to gain an immense amount of traction as retail finds it much easier to speculate with leverage & pre-determined risk tolerance than it is to learn options + greeks, @HyperliquidX has already proven this thesis out w/ 50% of platform volume being attributed to HIP-3 stocks & it being by far the top performing crypto asset over the past year as crypto trading volumes were down, @Lighter_xyz will also benefit from this trend especially w/ their Robinhood partnership @RobinhoodApp was the first proof of concept for a trading app that gamified the experience and made it easily understandable for retail, but nobody has effectively captured the social aspects of trading, the only place where people find the best Robinhood traders w/ large PNLs is on @X or other stocktwits esque sites, not the same venues where the trading is actually happening closest thing we've seen in the past with this trend was the $GME saga with Roaring Kitty, there will be a lot more stories like that this soon with even larger PNLs, entertainment finance is a new primitive and the content involved will be some of the most viral across the internet, everyone wants to learn how to trade and everyone wants to learn how to make money, people running courses cannot compete with talented traders who have all of the positions publicly verifiable on-chain especially those who also have a social media presence, we are focused on this area specifically at @BullpenFi the unsolved game with creators and attention is what i am most interested in this cycle, i cannot count how many people have reached out to me and thanked me for making them money over the years, trading and financial creators scale trust with their followers in a way that other creators on the internet do not, many of my loudest supporters are people who made a lot of money tailing me on solana & wif last cycle and printed 10x / 100x on both, there is no existing structure that captures this impact at scale but tokenization can, & these are the people rolling portions of their trading profits into $ANSEM there's also an immense amount of token projects who want to use creators with large followings for distribution and will pay substantial amounts of capital to do so that cannot be captured by your typical memecoin, productizing this demand side into something that benefits token holders will be my main focus this cycle overall believe that crypto social has largely failed because it shied away from the piece that crypto has had the most success with which is speculation, but it is uniquely positioned to capture an ongoing supertrend at the intersection of social media x creators x finance
