good coins, i dont think you can have one or the other btw, without memes in 2023 a lot of solana's onchain volumes wouldve been much lower & sol wouldnt have gotten attention as a valid fast, cheap, performant L1 to build on - which is what attracts businesses like cards/kled/avici/pumpcade L1s can be accurately compared to cities, cities have all different types of businesses that bring revenue & residents to the town, for ex. Vegas has a lot of casinos that bring revenue to the city, they also have real businesses like banks, restaurants, hotels, etc etc, just because casinos exist does not mean that other business owners would not want to be entrepreneurs there, in fact it is actually more attractive for them because there are more existing patrons already there gambling that will spend their money on other things so i think it all adds to the same pie & the attention is net positive, they are just a trojan horse for other things, @solana aims to be the chain where everyone wants to build products on because the infra is so good that it wouldn't make sense to build anywhere else, doesn't matter if that is @Pumpfun or other things like @JupiterExchange / @MeteoraAG / @kamino /@multisig / @BAXUSco / @phantom / @Raydium / @PlayKintara / @NestUSD / @clawpumptech / @squire_bot / @temporal_xyz / @gachasports / @pumpcade / @AviciMoney / @useKled / @Backpack / @Collector_Crypt / @perps / @jtx_trade / @world_xyz / @WSOP etc etc

i think 2021 was crazy for everything, think all coins went much higher than they should have agree inflation & token unlocks were big drag on price in 2023 & 2024, but theyre fixing inflation! & fixing demand side for sol w/ more burn attributed to activity also agree memecoins drove a lot of the onchain activity and not possible to replicate something like trump, but think it is possible for their to be other breakout consumer apps like cards, & room for them to improve w perps/defi/rwas etc

i have good sense for what will jumpstart attention, jito did very well with their airdrop at beginning of 2023 at same time solana was breaking out of its range, i also called that happening beforehand on many pods, pump has maintained mindshare for longer than ive seen any other crypto app & their userbase is all degens - onchain coins would rip if they're given a stimmy, also their pump token is down a ton & i would be very surprised if they dont ever try to send that back to ATHs timing would make sense, & even if theyre greedy they understand theyd make much more if token is trading 10x higher & that would also likely increase their revenues, just common sense imo

down -90% from all time highs, largest sol holder liquidated and put in jail for scamming customers, chain breaks whenever there is a lot of activity and the only activity on the chain is nfts and memecoins, daily onchain trading volume less than 5M a day and nobody wants to build on the chain as its seen as a scam attached to a criminal, ethereum is the only chain that makes sense for defi since its much safer and battle tested and has 100x more TVL, solana is dead and never coming back I don't see the trade, I see a gambling knife catch

still have same view on stock indices & memory being topped here in the short term think we get some fuckery at the beginning of Q3 which starts next week, still think crypto (focusing btc & sol) have frontran a lot of the weakness so am expecting bullish divergence in pa, but would not be surprised if there is a selloff at beginning of Q3 coinciding with stocks weakness, hype should continue to do well but think it also pulls back w/ rest of market worst place to be liquidated is at the bottom of a bear market before everything rallies together, so would be wary if long on lev, if playing spot then don't think its worth trying to overtrade it as we're near the lows & Q3 will be good spot to add
