combination of crypto outperforming all other risk assets for a decade and old holders derisking into institutionalization of the space + 2020-21 anomalous to normal biz cycles + ai & space shinier new things for retail
e.g. gold no new highs from 2011-2023
e.g. ZM down -80% as good measure of other covid bubble stocks that do not currently have same growth expectations as they did in 2020
crypto has always traded with an exceptional speculative premium betting on 100x growth of the space, now that real businesses emerging / tech giants utilizing crypto / better grasp on standard L1s usage: that speculative premium is compressing
