If the goal is to maximize token production per unit of cost, you have a sliding scale between the newest GPUs and the cheapest electricity/labor/water/steel/land/etc.   Even without the newest GPUs, China likely does this cheaper than Stargate. If not today, then in the near futuee…  (Especially when the state banks subsidize all of this with interest free loans)   After 2 decades of Chinese companies dumping product on all my “real economy” businesses below cost, gonna be fun to watch the tech bros experience this. Maybe META has a moat with FB, but tokens are an industrial process, and no one does industrial processes more efficiently than the Chinese.

I agree. But how do you think about the proliferation of small competing brands that are all taking a few basis points of market share?? Many are targeting higher luxury price points, with earned media from celebrity founders and endorsers. Go to a bar and for tequila, there is casamigos on the low end, then 20 brands I have never heard of, but in intriguing bottles. I naturally try new stuff. Think many of my friends do the same. In whiskey or bourbon this is even more played out. Cannot even think of a mainstream brand besides Makers that I have drank in 5 years. Brewers all played whack a mole to acquire these craft brands and it was an epic failure. But they cannot compete well either…
