definitely have been selling on the way up from multiple wallets if you're an OG bitcoiner then you believe btc main use was to hedge against monetary debasement, a 100,000x in a decade while govts & tradfi entities are buying confirms that thesis we're at the late majority stage for bitcoin & early adopters stage for crypto as technology imo, but for bitcoin in this stage in the thesis you either believe • complete collapse of the US dollar & widespread financial depression globally • continued slow devaluation of the dollar while they attempt to grow their way out of debt in the former scenario you need land/ammo/sustainable food/water/power & $1B+ assures you of this anywhere in the world for multiple generations regardless of what happens to any global currency in the second scenario Bitcoin continues to be the greatest performing asset but 0% chance it 100,000Xs again in the next decade, a 10X more likely to ~$20T $BTC at its current stage is likely the safest its been as an investment in its history because of how derisked it is now to own some of it in your portfolio, and the trillions of sidelined capital that haven't allocated, but its growth from here will be slower since its notably larger by market cap on the flip side if you believe the world is going to move forward with crypto adoption + 24/7 markets & that blockchain technology is a 0-to-1 step change for how humans & AI entities transfer value between each other, then Bitcoin will not be the only $1T+ market cap asset, & focus should be on finding what the next one(s) are in the next few years
