every time i tweet about ethbtc underperformance i get infinite talking heads mad at me on here but im p confident its more reflective of the overarching trend in crypto of issues w/ value capture for infra tokens can write as many thinkpieces as we want about why coins should be worth $100T+ but the market is no longer projecting aggressive growth in a new asset class without justification, peak market caps from 2020-21 cycle were anomalous, reason many infra tokens have performed so poorly is bc they are being valued like other early stage trad startups outside of crypto reason im a believer in the dapps supercycle is bc friction for bootstrapping new ideas in crypto is super low & we have the underlying infra to support diverse group of ideas, w/ new apps they come out at low vals & have ability to make significant revenue early on for large cap infra coins outside of ones that dominate activity like solana & hyperliquid, its gonna be tough when theyre valued on par with equity comps like robinhood / galaxy / coinbase but also do not have a ton of users yet nor revenue

best news for crypto in years yesterday and prices are down while robinhood is up 15%+ on the day unreal scenes typically when you have good news attached to poor price action it means its already priced in, concerning for next few weeks imo
