when you think about the average person in society this makes sense, people spend 4-6 hours a day on tik tok/instagram/X, how many hours a day do people spend in their banking app? maybe 5 minutes dogecoin went so high because it attracted a set of buyers who were simply never going to buy stocks, but they would buy a memecoin attached to a person that they know and a meme that they can relate to, & it also attracted large funds who started trading it once it was large enough to make money on, once an asset reaches escape velocity it becomes tradable for a much larger set of individuals boomers dont like memecoins because they dont understand how much the younger generation relates to memes/culture/content on the internet, but crypto is very unique in that tokenization is one of the only ways people can speculate on these societal trends, the next unlock will be how do you convert this kinetic energy of attention from retail speculators and turn it into something that also generates long term value outside of just the pure meme being popular

i think everyone needs to raise their targets much higher & allocate towards the leaders doge 88b trump 80b pepe 12b bonk 5b wif 5b multiple 1B+ coins if RWA + stablecoins thesis catches momentum, then you will not only have a large influx of institutional capital onchain, but crypto will also get a much needed boost to its reputation, and you will see retail capital enter a lot more aggressively also - especially because this cycle we will have a lot more easy-to-use mobile app frontends & trading terminals that make it easy for people to 1-click buy anything w/ little friction whether they already have money in crypto or not ceilings for coins should be higher this cycle not lower, we experienced underperformance last cycle comparatively to 2021 because of AI + there not being a new narrative for large capital to be excited about, should not have this issue over the next several months & years, especially if we get Clarity passed

very healthy price action on majors, $BTC & $ETH now catching up to $SOL everyone was extremely bearish going into the lows two weeks ago & believe most on CT did not buy the bottom, ironically enough believe it was tradfi cash heavy buyers stepping in to scoop coins at yearly discounts CT heavily indexes on 4 year cycle timing & expected lows in Q4 of this year, believe smart money saw discounts + fear around Saylor situation while AI names were up a ton & started bidding Q3 will be very important for determining momentum going into the end of the year, a lot of people will chase if price action continues to be constructive even onchain showing signs of life, and institutions like @RobinhoodApp being openly bullish crypto & RWAs is a great sign to encourage more sidelined capital to allocate + forcing crypto native teams to be more on the ball w/ their strategies for growing the entire pie

i guess i meant i know it wont benefit directly a ton but do you think ppl will bid the asset regardless jusr because it enables this activity even if it doesnt make significant revenue from it i think theres an argument to be made that it doesnt matter as much the same way rev doesnt matter for btc, i am not personally in this camp but it seems some ppl are

the way to create value is to create a net new novel primitive that retail has access to getting into at a low valuation, bitcoin in its purest essence was a rebellion against wages not keeping up with inflation & dollars becoming worthless driven by collective belief in a new form of money, ethereum was the same in that it was a net new primitive for transmitting value over the internet, there's been a dearth of cool & successful experimentation in crypto but the most successful experiments that people can also speculate on are what makes crypto cool
